Halfling Hoedown is an event held by Larp Shire in May in southern Ohio, near Wilmington, OH. It is a great event; think of it as being like a combination of a Renaissance Faire with Hobbits and Dancing. It was a lot of fun; just enough the grass was soft but not muddy, a nice cool day, with a lovely breeze.
There was music, sword swallowers, fire dancers, shopping, dancing orcs, Entish cosplayers, and much more.
I plan to go back next year!
